Third time’s the charm. Or… not… Wicked Ramen Shinsadong Naengcho-Myeon Flavor does little to re-correct the mistakes of its sibling noodles in the series. They just can’t seem to get it right! There’s always a tradeoff between the important aspects that make up a fantastic bowl of noodles with their noodles. If the noodles are great, there aren’t any other ingredients. If there are added ingredients, either the flavor profile is a train-wreck or the noodles turn to ooze. You just can’t win!
I’m pretty much done expecting much from this series of noodles… There’s still time though. This company…

Wicked Ramen (Yogoe Ramyeon) Shinsadong Naengcho-Myeon Flavor attempts to bring the icy and delicious flavor of cold noodles to a pantry near you! This marks the third package of ramen noodles I have assessed in the past few weeks. To summarize, the others weren’t anything special, but as I mentioned last time…
“The third time’s the charm!”
We’ll see if that holds true or not in the review, coming soon. However at this point, my hopes are completely squashed with this series. I’m sure these will suck. Hard. Just like the others.
If the packaging lured you into its shadowy…

The not-so-worthy, three-headed guardian of the ramen underworld, Wicked Ramen Itaeweon Chamggae Majemat, combines the flavors of Japan, South Korea, and China to create a barely smoldering, one-dimensional bowl of noodles that won’t be missed in your pantry. I had hoped that this package of instant noodles would bring something a little more respectable to the game of ramen, but now, instead of light at the end of the tunnel, there is only darkness…
The Wicked Ramen Series has promise with the branding and flavor combinations, but consistently fails to bring a bountiful amount of high quality ingredients to justify…

Wicked Ramen (Yogoe Ramyeon) Itaeweon Chamggae Majemat is the sequel to last week’s article on this popular new series of ramen noodles. This is number 2 out of 5 of the few packages my wife and I were able to find at a local event shop.
To summarize my thoughts so far about this series, the last package of noodles, Vongole Flavor, was seriously lacking in ingredients. The only things you’re getting inside a package with this series are instant noodles and a sauce packet. …

I’m back again today with the review for the first entry into the Wicked Ramen Series, their Vongole-flavored package of noodles. And, don’t you worry! I’ll be covering the rest of the instant noodles in their series, over the course of the next few “how-to guides” and reviews.
Wicked Ramen Vongole Flavor stands out when compared to other packages of ramen noodles with its stunning artwork. I talked about it in more detail in my latest guide, but let’s just say that I like where they’re heading with the design.
One thing I have to mention is that no amount…

Famously created by a chef and produced by a small budding company, Wicked Ramen a.k.a Yogoe Ramyeon is one of the hottest new package of ramen on the block! Personally, I find the borderline occult or archaic logo design of the monster on the front to be right up my Pagan alley (Yeah, I’m weird like that.) The packaging really screams “Horned God” or some sort of masculine form of a deity. I never thought I would find something like this applied to ramen noodles, but I find the marketing direction fascinating and somewhat reinvigorating.
Now, you’re probably not going…

Today, we have the sister or brother bar to Hershey’s Sprinkles ‘n' Crème I was previously talking about on the review menu. Hershey’s Strawberries ‘n' Crème is its name and candied strawberries is its flavor game! It’s a bar of strawberry flavored chocolate that closely resembles its sibling in packaging and texture, but has its own set of characteristics that make it unique.
Much like what you find in the characteristics of human beings, Strawberries ‘n' Crème has a similar mixed bag of both positive and negative qualities. So is the universe we live in I suppose!
I don’t know…

I stumbled upon this little tasty surprise the other day, while visiting a small mom and pop shop in my neighborhood here in Korea. What did I find you ask? A bar of chocolate from Hershey’s named Sprinkles ’n’ Crème! I’ve never seen this bar before, so I excitedly snatched the bar and brought it home to do some research. I went on the Hershey’s website and I couldn’t find a single thing about this bar of chocolate there. This leads me to believe it might be a Korean-exclusive candy bar from the uber-famous brand, Hershey’s.
Now, Nestlé and their…

At best these new noodles from Samyang are a bronze, not a gold. I take that back. Maybe Samyang didn’t make the podium at all and should only get a participatory ribbon for giving this ramen a good ol' fashioned try.
Samyang Ramen “Gold" is underwhelming to say the least, which is rather unusual coming from a titanic company with such a large following. It’s humbling to see that a successful ramen company can still fail so hard at making something. These noodles are uninspired and I personally don’t feel like they fit anywhere in the wide world of ramen…

A faux classic cup of noodles, Samyang Ramen Gold, looks to make old school new school with its dated design and flavor. I’ve personally never seen this one on the shelves until recently, so unless it somehow managed to fly under my “ramen-radar” this cup of noodles isn’t actually anything classic at all. Another red flag is the fact that I would have heard about it, because the classic Korean packages of ramen are often frequently mentioned in advertisements and conversations. I find it interesting that Samyang decided to slip this classically designed cup into circulation.
